dingaling Forums Junkie Location: tas Registered: June 2002	Re: Synthetic Oil Mon, 25 October 2004 16:42 I payed a rip off price of $70 odd dollars for Mobile 1 5w-50 and it's too thin! the viscosity range is too big for my car. Would leak thru the valve stem seals. Stupid friggin supercheap only stock mobile1 5w-50 in summer!! Then i whent to cheaper castrol synthetic 5w-30(magnatec i think) and it's alot better. But that is probably becuase the viscosity is more suitable for my engine. Also there was an ad on TV about mobile oil, where they ran it on an engine for 1 million miles (or km's?) and the inside of the engine was still in perfect condition. What they don't tell you is that the engine was recieving a constant fresh supply of oil. [Report message to a moderator]
