Spacer Issues Mon, 25 October 2004 22:01 Go to previous message
Just thought i would pop this one out there.
Im about to do a rear brake upgrade to discs, and the wheels i have dont sit on the centering ring, and so are lug centric. Im pretty sure im going to have to put a spacer between the disc and the axle hub in order to get it to line up with the caliper.
What do people think of the dodgyness of this? if i get it such that the wheel is hubcentric again, and im using longer studs i cant see much of a problem. The only issue i can see is that the extra 20mm of track width at each side, also pushes the wheel a further 20mm from the wheel bearing, and i could have issues there, not that the T series dont already have wheel bearing issues Laughing

Anyway, what do you guys think?
