matt86sx Regular Location: Gold Coast, QLD Registered: April 2004	Re: GEN ? 3S-GE Tue, 26 October 2004 00:21 OK, here's some pics of 3SGE's to clear things up: Gen 1 Fitted to 4th gen Celica 85-89 (ST162) Gen 2 Fitted to JDM 5th gen Celicas (ST182) and SW20 MR2s from 89-94 (Thanks to Steve for this pic - this is a progess shot of a Gen 2 being fitted to his ST162) Gen 3 Fitted to JDM 6th gen Celica (ST202) and MR2's from 94-99 There were also Gen 4 and 5 3SGE's too, but I don't claim to know much about these. I don't think they were ever fitted to Celicas, but rather the JDM Altezzas which were RWD. By the looks of things Matt, yours is a Gen 2 with a Gen 1 intake manifold on it. The manifold is cut out of your picture but if it has T-VIS written on it like the 1st gen one then that's what you have.
