Lets see, i woudl reccomend you do all of the following.
Wrap loom with heat resistant electrrical tape (Dickys sells good stuff)
Wrap extractors with heat resistant braid stuff.
Wrap loom with alfoil.
Ziptie loom as far away from extractors as possible.
Fabricate alloy heatshield.
Keep fire extinguisher in car.
