Ummm... there isnt much variation on the 18R avaliable. Never came out in turbo/blown form. If you wanted to turbo the 18R, the 18R-GE would be the best. But you would need low comp pistons or a thick copper head gasket to reduce the compression. You might as well move to a diff engine like the 1G-GTE. Might even take less work than the 18R-GE -> turbo to get in. Either was, youll still have to get it engineered, which will mean youll have to upgrade other parts of the car as well... like brakes. A W50 for the 18R-xxx, not sure what box for a 1G.
