Nishad bought a VVTi motor and 6 speed for about 7K as an 'engine-gearbox package' (not halfcut). He did the wiring himself without wiring diagrams and it was an 'absolute bitch'. He didn't like the electronic throttle control.
www.supras.nl has a partial ECU pinout for the 2JZGTE VVTi motor.
As Norbie has stated it is doable (plenty of 1JZ powered Hiluxes) but your conversion will not be cheap.
Have you considered an earlier Hilux and a 1UZ?
