Hey Chuck

There was very little buildup on mine, but I used a rag & carby cleaner on the piston crowns, which had no effect on the ceramic coating. To be honest, I really didn't think much about protecting the coating from solvents etc, just figured that if it can cop the abuse of thermal loadings & combustion pressures in a GZE, then it must be pretty tough.

I have read articles on certain race fuels where they have warned of ill effects of their funny fuels on ceramic coated parts though, so there is some merit to your concern Smile
