Brad_ Occasional Poster Location: Brisbane QLD Registered: September 2004	Re: old M-TEU engines Fri, 29 October 2004 05:45 yeah, the GT has a 5m with MTEU bits bolted on too, i reckon it would pump out around that much hp aswell.....but, he doesn't wanna sell me that particular engine and has a running MTEU, so i'm planning on putting that in, but was just wondering if it might be cheaper or easier to try and rebuild mine with parts from willbo's MTEU. how much do you reckon a rebuild would cost if i took to a mechanic both MTEU's? if its still in excess of $1,500 i would rather just buy dave's engine. i thought that if i pulled both engines out and just took them to a mechanic and got him to chop and change the parts around and rebuild a working engine would cost less than a rebuild for an engine he doesn't have parts for. i'm still willing to buy that 5M MTEU of yours dave if it's still just lying around???? thanks guys. brad.
