I have a '91 MX83 Cressida and when the car is idling in park and you use something electrical like the windows, the revs drop.
What could be the problem? Is this a common thing? Is it just that the timing is out?
Just 2 more things - (1) she seems to have a "flat" spot during acceleration and (2) if you're cruising at say 100k's and you let your foot off the accelerator, the speed drops abruptly for a second or 2, before starting its gradual decline. I'm wondering whether all these problems are intertwined somehow? I changed the spark plugs (NGK Laser Platinum) and things don't seem to have changed much.
