Listen to Danny!!
Unfortunately you do pay for what you get with a GT4.
I bought a standard ST185 and I'm very glad I now have the Group A Rallye.

Chances are that it was looked after better and well serviced by an older die hard Toyota fan. It would be nice to buy a $23k example but thats just icing on the cake. If you are like me you can put up with a cheaper version...then you wont feel so bad when you mod the hell out of it Evil or Very Mad

The few more things different with the Group A Rally (apart from previously mentioned things)are:
* the stiffer sport suspension (springs and struts)
* a very nice short shift kit
* very small aluminium bumpers front and rear (saves a LOT of weight)
* factory water sprayers on the twin core water/air intercooler radiator (they are there but not operational from showroom)
* larger air intake
* better G/box with triple synchros (1st gear is obviously still not dickhead proof because my synchros were shot when I got it)
* different hood and front bumper skin

well theres a few that come to mind right now. But the things I like most would have to be the weight saving. After driving my old standard GT4 and the Carlos Sainz the lighter feel is something that you notice ever time you put your foot down. Times that feeling by a year and I'd say it's worth every extra cent. Also, the lack of horrible heat sink into the intercooler at the lights during summer is something I definitely do not miss having owned 2 air to air 3SGTE's before. I love Water to Air and wouldn't swap it for anything unless I got really serious about drag racing in which I'd go front mount with a huge turbo.

All this info is given without a shred of bias Wink
