I only have a RA23 and there is no plastic associated with any part of this tank, bar the fuel level float on the side. The four pipes on the top are as follows:

The longest one is the fuel pick up (6mm)
The second longest is the fuel return (6mm)
The short 12mm pipe is the vent tube that hooks up
to the filler neck from the fuel cap. It helps to
burp the tank of air while you are filling up.
The short 4mm pipe hooks up to the carbon canister.

My carbon canister is down near the original battery and it made of metal. Does the RA28 have a plastic one located in the rear?

Mitch.
