1. Keep looking for a JZA70 or an already-converted MA70/GA70. Save yourself the headaches.
2. Having said that, the conversion is very easy as engine conversions go. Same chassis, different engine - just swap everything over.
3. 11k is way too much to pay for a GA70. You can get a locally-delivered MA70 for much less.
4. Local MA70's are widebody, GA70's are not. Another reason to get a local car.
5. Every Mk3 I've seen had the same brakes, including GA70, MA70 and JZA70.
6. All Mk3's have the same diff type (8" G series) but ratio's will vary considerably and not all have factory LSD. Most GA70's have an open diff and very low ratio (around 4.6:1 for some), while local MA70's (turbo versions) have 3.7:1 and standard LSD. Most import MA70's have an LSD but not all.
7. Converting a JZA70 from auto to manual is not hard, but finding the necessary parts can be hard and will be expensive. If you want manual, buy a manual front cut.
