i think you should be fine for fit, i had a set of 15 by 6.5 speedy hyperfang 2s (now sold), they had 10mm or so between the strut and tyre/wheel. id like a lower offset ideally, but they will fit no problems.
i'm going to be using 14 by 6 (10mm offset) inch rims for now, as they were very cheap.
i have heard that the best size for this size rim is 195/55R15.
