You will need - Sheet metal (0.8mm ).9 and 1.0mm zinc anneal would be my choice)
Oxy Acetylene
Mig and or Tig welder (I like to have both by my side)
4" grinder and 9" grinder c/w cut off discs and grinding pads
Mill and Lathe and various tools for operating both machines
Safety glasses (duh)
Swaging machine
$2000 budget for Earl's fittings
An engine will help (in this case a 2JZ GTE will be perfect and it will keep with the original theme).
Custom tailshaft
You could try the JDM LSD but a 9" will be more appropriate.
A roll cage is also a good idea (but it will detract from the sleeper image unless it is done well).
Prolly custom pedal box and associated master cylinders
Custom front Struts (Lamb are a good brand)
Box the control arms
Wilwood brakes all around (or equivalent)
examine your head (you may be abe to afford to have someone else examine it)
Get a big ass Turbo and some big ass bollocks
Front mount intercooler
Account with Capral aluminium (or Canadian equivalent)
Safety gloves, safety boots, safety first.
Welding helmet, shitload of spare time
20PSI should do while tuning/running it in and then you can get serious with the boost add a double or triple (phwoar) NOS before cruising Ontario's main boulevardes.
Now as long as you have these and the ability to make various jigs, SST or WST's along the way, then you should get out into that ga rage and make it happen. Post some pics along the way.
Good Luck and take NIL crap from that other bunch of heartless pricks.
Roll on the JZE71 - has a nice ring to it.
