can speak from experience, once you gap them down too low, the idle goes to hell,
for example
given the fact that i run LPG and high boost, technically the gap has to be down a lot for the two factors
on the weekend I gapped it down a lot (can't remember exactly to what) and the idle went from sweet as to absolute shit and the boost handling went up.
