In my case, it was the rear end that came crashing down - launching itself off the jack stands (one of which is now seriously bent). Luckily, I had just removed the windey-jack from the training arm and had the wheels under the car to take the impact. I'm still kinda nervous and paranoin at every squeak and knock - but I don't think anything was damaged. It made an almighty crash and scared the bejesus out of me. And made the cat (who has been under the front of the car rolling in oil a minute before) bolt up the nearest tree. Next time, I'll do a better job of chocking the front wheels.
