Tue, 22 October 2002 07:22 I have done a 18RC engine into a TA22 and the main problem was that the engine mounts for the 18R were about a 200mm forward of the 2t. We butchered the TA22 mounts to fit the 18R but it has been running for 2 years. The tunnel fitted the W50 box and the Ta22 std gearbox mount only needed redrilling to fit. The shaft needed to be extended approximately 25mm. One problem is over heating with the 18r head sitting higher than the radiator because the radiator was pushed between the light frames. The top radiator hose has a major S bend and should have been fixed but cant be bothered since i am changing to 4agze. [Report message to a moderator]
