my 4agze has been sitting on my garage floor for about 2 months after it sat in the car for 2 months and will remain dormant for a few more months till i work out some big brakes on the sprinter 
but if your worried about it you can buy a fogging oil which is designed for engines which are left to stand for a while. its just an oil which is sorta more sticky.
