don't worry about the smoke... it's what we call "full throttle smoke" and most cars do it. but specifically, toyota ECU's go into open loop when you reack WOT. this means it's no longer worried about sensing the oxygen levels in the exhaust and adjucting the mixtures accordingly... all it's doing is running a factory pre-determined map that is concened basically only with engine speed... it's just giving it heaps of fuel, at all rev positions and making sure it wont lean out up in the top end...
