when the ball joint is moved from to stock position, it exends the bottom therefore may hit the bottom of the floor pan. The purpose of the spacers is to give enough space from the bottom of the shifter and the floor pan (well thats my guess anyways)
The kit has now been fitted with a fair amount of fabricating and modifying Sad damn trd lol
