My girlfriend has a AE92 Holden Nova / Toyota Corolla with a 7AFE. Its running A/C, P/S and standard exhaust and exhaust manifold and it feels very restristed, but still goes quite well and revs cleanly to the factory 6500rpm redline. A few treads on here have raised questions about the strength of the 7AFE bottom end. I drive a KE35 and think that this engine would be great in my car although I agree with the others in saying that the 4AGE head and decent exhaust will definately help with top end. My brother had the 86kw 4AGE taken out of his AE86 TwinCam 16 Corolla and fitted with a 4AGE 20 valve. It went well above 5000rpm but didn't have much torque to launch. He regretted not getting the 4AGZE. If its a street car the torque is what gets you off the line, and if your not going forced induction then you want cubes.
