I also have a brake upgrade for TA22's thats for sale it came already setup on a car i brought but basically is straight out of a cressida... i cant remember what model. The strut, hub, rotor, caliper are all standard cressida parts.
The only mod is to the TA22 steering arm, where one of the holes used to bold this and the strut together has been slotted (shown in pic).
Anyway i can really say if this mod would pass an engineer but i took it out of a car which had been engineered with a 3TGTE in it.

Brakes are vented as seen in pics with much larger rotors and calipers then the standard celica ones. Also has bigger shocks then the celica.

If a buy is interested i may be able to provide a full rebuild package if you wanted everything new (at a very good price) ; rotors, pads, caliper rebuild kits, wheel bearing kits, shocks. Not that everything is stuffed it all worked great when i pulled them off the car about 8 months ago, just thought if someone was building a nice celica up they might like it to all be new.
