Good point about the 'tick tick' noises. My mate had a leaky manifold and it definitely sounded like that. And also I haven't touched the manifold area since I put the engine in, which is around 2 months ago now? Maybe oil is leaking onto it somehow?
Also, car feels really sluggish when its cool. It will boost orite (can hear the induction) but doesnt have the same kick as when its warm. Is that a symptom? Or am I just thinking too much? Forgive my ignorance, but I've only ever owned N/A cars before this.
