Fri, 12 November 2004 01:10 The Celica ones had a metal piece that was stapled onto the masonite to create that curl. I just took the metal bits off the old door card and used the same staple holes and staples and pursueded them to go onto the new masonite card. ps. one more thing I remembered, if you use a thinner card you'll have to find some pretty thin staples to suit (when you staple your fabric back on the new backing). I used 4mm staples (smallest ones I could find retail), 3mm padding and 3mm masonite and if you press hard enough you can feel the staples, but only just. pps. Yeah those plastic door thingies are an interesting fit with all that new padding. [Report message to a moderator]
