225/50r16 are a common size on performace cars, and are cheaper and easier to get a wide variety in. it is almost exactly the same circumference as a 185/75r14, depending on the brand you get. trust me, it's the best option pricewise and performance-wise. what style of wheels are you looking at? superlites look awesome on any older car in my opinion.
