The carbeurettor is a known restriction on 22R's; I'd ditch it pronto if I wanted to get any sort of performance out of a 22R.
And if it was me, I'd be replacing the carb with factory EFI! 22R-E fuel injection is not expensive or hard to come by, and it's a bolt-on affair for your engine. Straight away you eliminate all the hassles you're going to run into with a blow-through setup.
