Thanks for the life lesson, Mum.
I really don't think they'd be steering you too far wrong with this book, and I know a few of the people who have contributed to it (from the mr2oc) and they're very knowledgable people. These books are designed to tell you as much as you need to know to understand what you are doing, so you can bypass knowing absolutely everything about it to draw your own conclusions.
