i just got my 18RG head done.
full head service,
basically it included
re-ground cams $250 {ripped off}
new SS ferrea valves $20 ea
new springs, $100
VRS $110
straighten
skim
setting the valve lash
port
$1600, COST price parts and sub-lets and only $500 labour, cause my dad did the work, retail was close to $3000, and that was just the head, not the labout to R&R it.
