I wouldn't be buying anything with a turbo and over 100000km unless they have receipts to show the turbo has had a rebuild unless of course that car is a saab or volvo. Another thing do you really want a early 90's car that has a turbo driving the front wheels. the mx6 tubo is written off by many magazines as beign a bit of a dog.

Waaaaa? Price any single component in a Saab Turbo Gearbox.

Just one of them - seriously.
And conversely, my Supra's turbo has done over 335,000kms now and is still in fine fettle. Unless a turbo has been boosted beyond its capabilities, or they've been chronically bad at remembering to idle the car down, turbos are like electronics. They either fail straight away or last forever.

Of course this is just Toyota metallic turbos, other manufacturers may vary and ceramic turbos fatigue. Moral of this story? Buy a Supra. Surprised
