If the 5MGE has an old mechanical dizzy, then it will run with a 5ME ECU no probs. If it has a full electronic dizzy, then no it won't.

What we have done is just modify the 5ME dizzy to fit in the 5MGE, swap all the 5ME sensors over and run the 5MGE with a 5ME ECU. It cost us around 1-150 to have the dizzy modified.
