The plastic mount youi connect the speedo cable to in the back of the dash... Its white if i remmember... It was cracked around the base... The mechanism behind it held it in place however... The crack did mean that there was some play in it however.. causing the irregular speedo reading below 120....

I used quicksteel on it and seemed to fix the problem nicely...
