I have wired my toyota alt with internal regulator up as follows. Can anyone see any problems with this approach?
Positive through pilot light to "L" terminal.
Positive from battery to "S" terminal &
Positive from ignition switch to "IGN" terminal.
Main terminal post with heavy guage wire also goes back to battery.
I hope my sribble is clear enough to follow.

This is on my race car so no engine relays or anything complicated have been removed. I just want a basic setup with a alt pilot light that works.
