Oh ok well in that case you could benefit from larger injectors... There are plenty of people who have put the 440's on the 3t with little trouble however this has not been my experience....

If you could find some injectors around the 330 - 350 it would be a lot easier to get idling correctly... They are just top feed injectors and and should be quite easy to get other injectors to fit..

Even still I would get a cheap air/fuel meter/guage installed as these engines have a tendancy to blow the factory pistons when it gets too lean....

Other than that your idea sound like the go.. anything beyond that I would again urge you to look at an aftermarket ecu
