Thu, 30 May 2002 12:06 Really want to see how bad all the fuel is in OZ, Run your cars on a Tank of Elf and then go back to Oz rated 98RON. By far I find my car will only run on BP or Mobil with vast amounts of Toulie added, shell optimax really does sucks and no matter how much boosters are pump in, it still pings.... This was also when premium leaded was the only high octane stuff available. The lab techie at work use to test the octane rating before working with us and he rating are as follows: 1. BP 2. Mobil 3. Shell 4. Caltex This is how they always came home in his lab test. [Report message to a moderator]
