wow thats stiff.

Heres an interesting story for you guys, I went to a yokohama suspension joint and said I want some 4Kg backs, he said we deal with pounds, I was like ooookk got a calculator? he started asking questions, alot of questions and he was saying that 4kg is way too hard for street use to be putting on the back and asked if I want to set it up for drifting, about half a second later I said no way, and he also said that by upping the sway bars I could drasticly change the rigidity. I told him that its been pretty much proven that upping the sway-bars size has shown to have an adverse affect. He went a bit funny about this and said that he can say for sure that its a load of bullshit that I have been told and that 4kg was really not suitable for my application. He also went on about what tires I was using and the effect and all my other settings. I stayed polite and didnt say too much. This guy had worked on race cars before and I beleive he thought he had the upper hand. I beleive he was a works for one works for all guy, I beleive that the theory often doesnt work and practice is countless times more meaningfull. Now I know the advice I have is very different but I am going to take a chance and trust whats been recomended by you guys on here. The springs I know from my own experience that they need to be bloody hard but the sway-bar thing many people have played with it. I trust the people here who have tried and made it work, not use some theory that usually works.
