Yes and No, the actually injector sits in the fuel rail. Fuel is feed from the side and straight through to the next injector, so in essence the injector acts as part of the fuel rail.

Again Yes and No. If you get the fuel rail you may be able to cut and splice the rail to suit the injector spacing on the manifold. Then you have to some how mount it so it won't move and also seal the injectors where they fit the manifold. Also major prob. would be if the Toyota fuel rail is a cast item (most late models are), how would you splice them to the right spacing? To do all this will set you back as much as simple swapping your injector over to 12A items which flow some where close to 330cc/min (ie very high) Impedance could be the same too...I'm using the green injectors from a 1G which where flowed at 150cc... Are you running a standard ECU? Again a problem as the ECU will have to be remapped for any injector change.
