Hehe, I haven't got around to sorting out my thermostat just yet, but I am 95% certain that is what is causing it, as when I pull over to check it out the motor is warm, but not hot like it should be if it was running right. I haven't replaced it yet, but I will soon as I had to get new radiator hoses, but haven't got a new thermostat yet... Work has been crazy lately!

As for the starting troubles, have you checked the plugs, leads, timing belt, timing? Thats what I would be checking, of course changing your oil at service intervals and crap like that.
