oh, yeah, the alternator...you would need to get it's mounts of a ze too, and mount it on the exhaust side, above the a/c compressor...
well my old ge is a 7 rib block, bigport head, t-vis. it has the bigger internals, i beleive the same as a s/c block...but, it has highter compression pistons compared to a s/c block and there not forged or coated, i think around 9.6:1 ?? cant remember on that one..(the early ze is 8.0:1, and later 8.9:1)
yes i think just getting a ze would probably be a better idea in the long run, it's built 4 boost...
