Just investigating the relevant costs and complexities of putting a manual transmission into my Chaser. A couple of questions relating to the conversion:
1) Whats the designation for the 5-speed box which mates up to the 1jz? w58?
2) Would a 2jz box (5 and 6 speed out of a Supra) fit up as easily?
3) Would i need to change ECU due to the new transmission?
4) I figure that i would need a the transmission, new pedal box, clutch, master and slave clutch cylinders, and console trim. Anything else? Flywheel?
5) And what ball park would i be looking at for parts, and if i'm too lazy, labour?
