The reason why i'm actually looking at a manual is because i've found the shift strategy on the auto to be the crappiest in any auto car i've driven. Am i the only one who thinks this is the case, or is this a trait of the auto's?
What i'm talking about is that peak torque is developed around 2400 rpm with my 1jz, but for some reason the ECU seems to think that on light to medium throttle, downsifting is the way to go rather than leave it in the current gear and build up.
