ra23celica Forums Junkie Registered: November 2002	Re: Identifying g/box Thu, 02 December 2004 06:38 Its likely that the 4 speed was the W40 gearbox, while (I assume its a 5 spd now) is the W50 gearbox. The '40 was found on old R series Corona's mainly, the '50 on R series Celica's, 1976 to 1981. Google a search on W50 gearbox pictures and you should find a comparsion pic for ID purposes.
