Like frank said... Your fly wheel has to be at 0 on the flywheel (Top Dead Centre)... and both your cam gears should line up...by that I mean there are little dots on the cam gears...if you look you will see them they are little dots with a letter on the cam gears...when your fly wheel is at 0 (TDC) your cam gear dots should align with the lines on the cam cover..(the metal behind your cam gears) You will see two straight lines behind your cam gears)Your cam gear dots should align with the two lines behind them when on Top Dead Centre...Thats all...When you check your timing make sure its on 10 degrees with the TE1 and E1 pin shorted with a wire in your diagnostic plug. Also make sure your rotor button is on number one cylinder.... when you do this...ezy to tell by the dizzy cap numbers...just my 2c worth.
