Well, car's been running reasonably well lately, except just after it starts when it can be a bit rough. today, I drove over to get some prawns and when I started it up to come home, it ran rough, stalled, didn't want to idle, then I noticed all this steam coming out of the exhaust pipe. Drove it home, only about 2 km and the temperature had gone off the gauge by the time I got there. No doubt a blown head gasket. I just knew this would happen to me. Can anyone tell me how hard they are to get, approximate cost and how much I am likely to have to pay to have it done. It is Sunday morning, so can't ring around.
