Mon, 06 December 2004 02:13 Thats what is annoying us, because we are trying to get the original loom and ECU that come with the engine which was the 4 big plugs with 4 row pins, when we sent the original loom back as all the ECU plugs were smashed to bits, the replacement loom and ECU they sent back to us is meant for a Supra (Toyota T6-a ECU , 4 plugs, 2 row pins), and the flyer wire coming from the ECU is a totally different plug to the loom one (different shape, and ECU has 8 pins, loom has 10 pins). When we ordered the engine, they didnt send us the ECU at first for warranty reasons, so I cant tell you what the flyer wire looked like sorry, but I can ask my mechanic and see if he remembers what the loom flyer wire looked like. So yeh....lol. Im hoping to track down the loom we need so we can tell this guy what one it is, he can send the complete loom, ECU and wiring diagram, and start from scratch. With the right loom and everything it shouldnt take too long though. I agree with you Cruzida, nut I dont exactly have the money lying around to get aftermarket ECU and swap to manual trans, have Uni to pay for aswell.... [Report message to a moderator]
