basically when you shut your throttle fuel is still going in and is unburnt, and because the GZE coil packs are "waste spark" config (fires on both compression and exhaust strokes) the excess unburnt fuel is ignited as the exhaust is pushed out....

well that's what i would think anywayy....



Sounds about right, over fueling is usually the cause of flames out the exhaust, or very poor igniting in the cylinder.
