I wouldn't think the F/M intercooler would make much of a difference on a dyno, but then again, you wouldn't have the heat stroke from the top of the engine if it were a top mount. So people putting on bigger crank pulleys and front mounted intercooler without tuning it could infact not be making as much power as they should and only be gaining torque therefore thinking their cars are alot quicker!?
