Yeah, getting the rear turbo off is the hardest part. It was especially difficult in my Corona compared to regular 1jz powered cars.
Then you take the 12 bolts off the exhaust manifolds. You will most likely pull a fair few studs out which is also a pain in the arse to get the bolts off the studs.
Then pull the inlet manifold off and wiring that is connected. This took me and my dad about 2 hours but we had never done it before.
Then pull, the cam covers off. Undo the bolts that hold the cam down. Keep them in the correct order. Pull the fastener things off. Then you get the bolts that hold the cam gears in. And you can now take the cams out. Also you can remove the buckets and shims.
That is as far as I got. But I would imagine, you just get the main head bolts from there. Anyone know?
