First up
My bad getting Industrial Springs mixed up with another place Industrial is on Port Road, Hindmarsh.

Second I'm not an expert, just been there and done that or know ppl who have.

Ok the guards, go feel the underside of the guard where it rolls underneadth, feel that flat spot it sticks out about 3 or 4 mm that can cut into the tyre if its big and wide. So what they do is they roll it up or i've even seen some cars where they have had it pulled down looks umm crazy!

U don't HAVE to have the car lowered but it will look probably dumb if u dont. I have seen a number of Rice lancers getting around with 16's and stock springs and it looks awfull. Lowered springs will u set u back around 250$ if u can fit them urself, not a hard job just need the right tools, ie handful of GOOD quality spanners, ive snapped about 10 of those drop forged shit, spring compressors and a socket set. Having them fitted by a workshop can cost a shit load, sometimes as much as the springs if not more, simply because of the time involved. I've changed my spings and some of my mates springs about 15-20 times, never really counted, and I've got the whole car changed and ready to go for a wheel alignment in around 1.5-2 hours assuming nothing goes wrong and you on your own, 2 ppl make it a LOT easier. You don't need to changed yur shocks if u lower your car less than say 25-30mm, more than this can stuff around with the geometry I think, other ppl no more than me this is just what i have heard although i was running 50mm lowered rear and 40mm lowered front with the standard shocks and it felt great...bumpy as a mofo on mcintyre road...but great on any twisty stuff.

Cheers

any more qs just PM me
