As norbie said the results arn't worth the hassle unless you really want a tough N/A. you end up with a torquey engine but I'd still like to add a turbo.
you can take an 18R-G out to 2.2lt by running 22R-E pistons on the standard 18R-G rods/crank. Going out to 2.4lt involves a crap load more mucking around and the rods are hard to find. and crank needs machining to suit block.
