tom: i think you should have moved state, changed your name by deed poll without informing any of your family and told everyone you're an orphan.... that's a seriously disturbing childhood.
my turn...
1. every attempt to have a planned family outing ended in disaster - ranging from child braking arm in a swimming accident to 2" of rain when attempting a spit roast for a large family gathering (this resulted in a new rule: any family gathering should be spontaneous and random)
2. my family usually gets me a combined xmas-birthday gift - despite the fact that my birthday is in july.
3. my mum & dad thought driving 4 children to melbourne and back (in summer) would be fun... in a mazda bongo van. The motor continuously overheated and when we got back to brisbane, the '74 floods was in full swing.
